General Grand Chapter  Distinguished Service Medal

This honor is awarded by the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, International to only one deserving and distinguished Companion in each grand jurisdiction each year.  The award is based on nomination by the Grand High Priest of one who has truly demonstrated service, above and beyond the call of duty, on a state-wide level to Freemasonry in general, but Capitular Freemasonry in particular.

It is the responsibility of all Companions to make nominations to the Grand High Priest.  The Grand High Priest may accept this nomination, or, if no nomination is received, make award to the Companion of his choice.
